PAWNEE — Elizabeth Anne Minder, 89, of Pawnee, Illinois, passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at Nokomis Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. She was born Dec. 22, 1932, in Pawnee, the daughter of William S. and Mary E. Fitzsimmons Minder. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Joseph, William "Skip" and James Minder; and two sisters, Jane Barry and Barbara Adcock. Anne was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid. Before joining St. Rita, she was an active member and tireless volunteer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pawnee for many years, devoting many hours of service to the church, including participating in the choir. Anne worked as the office manager for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.'s Springfield branch. After she retired, she worked part time for Tosetti & Associates in Nokomis. Anne was kindhearted and generous, helping those in need when and where she could. She enjoyed opening her home to her many nieces and nephews, hosting holidays, campouts, bonfires and reunions. Anne is survived by a brother, John C. (wife, Carolyn) Minder, of North Venice, Florida; sisters-in-law, Helen and Sandra Minder; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, at St. Rita Catholic Church at 30 St. Rita Court in Kincaid, with Rev. Piotr Kosk officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Pawnee.
