Ashley Rose Mason, 32, of Springfield, Illinois, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at 5:38 p.m. Ashley Rose was born March 13, 1984, in Springfield, the beautiful daughter of Craig Alan Mason of New Berlin and Lori Rose (Leskovisek) Dennison of Carlinville. Ashley Rose was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sheila Rose (Wagner) Leskovisek; her paternal grandfather, Jerry Wayne Mason; and stepgrandmother, Jane Annette Mason.
Ashley Rose is survived by her mother and father; one brother, Andrew Craig Mason, of Carlinville; two sisters, Carly Ann-Marie Mason of Pawnee and Mary Shay Dennison of Carlinville; two stepsisters, Jennifer Christine Phillips of Elkhart and Leighann Nicole (Shane) Remmert of Williamsville; one stepbrother, Ryan Alexander (Tamara) Dennison, of Loami; stepfather, Roger Allen Dennison Jr., of Carlinville; stepmother, Dawn Mason, of New Berlin; maternal grandparents, Frank Stanley and Peggy Jo Leskovisek, of Pawnee; paternal grandparents, Alan and Sue Clark, of Chatham; stepgrandparents, Roger Allen and Mary Joan Dennison, of Elkhart; one niece, Krystian Ann Marie Gentry, of Pawnee; three stepnieces and two stepnephews. Also surviving are an abundance of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ashley Rose absolutely adored her family with all of her heart and soul. She enjoyed writing poetry, had an insatiable passion for every venue of music and had a radiant, captivating smile.
A private family service will be held. A celebration of peace and homecoming will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Pawnee.
