Aubree Kay Shores, 8 days, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at her home. Aubree was born Oct. 27, 2016, in Springfield, the daughter of Brandon J. and Michelle L. Selby Shores. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jim Shores, Michael Selby Sr. and Tom Anderson Sr. Aubree is survived by her parents, Brandon and Michelle, of Pawnee; one brother, Lennon J. Shores, of Pawnee, who was proud to be a big brother to Aubree and very protective of her; two grandmothers, Joanna Anderson and Maureen Brennan Shores, both of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Aubree's family will meet friends from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee. The Rev. A.B. Bennett will officiate. Burial will follow at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
