Pawnee — Brent Alan Willman, 59, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville. Brent was born Oct. 1, 1965, in Hillsboro, the son of William B. and Betty L. Scott Willman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty, in 2009; his grandparents; his aunts, Jenetta Scott, Loretta Harris and Rosalie Stewart; and his uncles, Harold Scott, Charles Scott and Roger Willman.

Brent graduated from Pawnee High School in 1983. He was a self-employed carpenter for 40 years. Brent had a passion for gardening, cooking and four-wheeling. He was also an avid fan of the Fighting Illini and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved animals and would often bring home strays.

Brent is survived by his father, Bill, of Pawnee; one sister, Kim (Chris Pearson) Jackson, of Pawnee; one uncle, Kenneth "Dutch" Willman, of Donnellson; four aunts, Tammy (Steve Webb) Pate of Waggoner, Joyce (Wayne) Williams of Moline, Shelby Motycka of Panama and Carole (Paul "Bear") Barricklow of Hillsboro; one niece, Brittani (Jeff) Allen; one nephew, Mitchell (Candice) Jackson; a great-niece and a great-nephew; and several cousins.

Cremation rights will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. April 26, 2025, at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee, with Jeff Allen officiating.
