Pawnee – Debra L. Bowen, 55, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Friday, June 26, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Debra was born July 6, 1964, in Springfield, the daughter of George A. and Sharon A. Mieras Jaeger. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David, in 1999. Debra attended Pawnee High School. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at several doctors' offices and Springfield Clinic and as a hospice nurse. She loved gardening, camping and fishing, and her dog, Daisy Mae. Debra is survived by two sons, Timothy A. Bowen Jr. and Joseph W. Bowen, both of Pawnee; two grandsons, Elijah and Silas Bowen; her companion, Mark Iverson, of Pawnee; two nieces, Amber A. Wheeler and Crystal C. Pierce, of Phoenix, Arizona; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Debra's family will meet friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2020, at Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee.
