Pawnee — Donna JoAnn Cincebox, 89, of Pawnee, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Donna JoAnn was born Feb. 17, 1936, in Rochester, the daughter of Everette F. and Georgia L. Gregurich Herberger Sr. She married LeRoy V. Cincebox on Dec. 11, 1954, at Pawnee Assembly of God Church in Pawnee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, LeRoy, in 2012; a son, Dennis LeRoy; and a daughter, Donna Karlene.

Donna JoAnn was a member of Pawnee Assembly of God Church. She graduated from Ball-Chatham High School in 1953. She worked at Bunn-O-Matic Corp. in Springfield for many years and previously at The Franklin Life Insurance Co. in Springfield and Dickey-John in Auburn.

Donna JoAnn cherished her role as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and children of all ages. She also loved traveling, including a motorcycle trip to the East Coast.

Donna JoAnn is survived by one son, Kim Cincebox, of Pawnee; two daughters, Denise Searcy of Auburn and Teresa (husband, Tony) Rudin of Springfield; five grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica) Witty of Springfield, Tanner (wife, Dominique) Witty of Springfield, Hannah (Dylan) Rudin of Afton, Missouri, Anthony (Alexis) Rudin Jr. of St. Ann, Missouri, and Lukas Rudin of Gilbert, Arizona; four great-grandchildren, Carter Witty, Carsyn Witty and Ash Witty, all of Springfield, and Xavier Rudin of St. Ann, Missouri; one brother, Everett F. Herberger Jr., of Detroit, Michigan; one sister, Barbara Sitze, of Pawnee; and several nieces and nephews.

Donna JoAnn's family will meet friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Pawnee Assembly of God Church in Pawnee, with Rev. Carol Creech officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield at 1 p.m.
