Georgia Lena Herberger, 104, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Saturday, June 4, 2016, at her daughter's home in Pawnee. Georgia was born April 20, 1912, in Auburn, the daughter of Paul J. and Johanna P. Cop Gregurich. She married Everett F. Herberger on Dec. 22, 1932, in Pawnee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett, in 1996; five brothers and five sisters.
Georgia was a 90-year member of the Pawnee Assembly of God Church. She was a homemaker.
Georgia is survived by one son, Everett F. (wife, Ruth) Herberger, of Troy, Michigan; two daughters, JoAnn Cincebox and Barbara June (husband, Wendell) Sitze both of Pawnee; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara "Betty" Castleman, of Pawnee and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Georgia's family will meet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2016, at Pawnee Assembly of God Church. An additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, at the church with Rev. A.B. Bennett and Rev. Everett Herberger officiating. Burial will follow at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
