Pawnee — Heather Marie Pierce, 39, of Pawnee, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at her residence in Pawnee after a long battle with brain cancer. Heather was born May 9, 1979, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of John E. and Sherilyn G. Cashen Pierce Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and Grandparents. Heather attended Pawnee High School. She is survived by her son Pierce Ian Proctor; one brother, Chris Pierce of Pawnee; one niece, Kylee Pierce; one nephew, Jaxon Pierce and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee with Rev. Chuck Kurfman officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Pawnee. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 675 E.
