Irene E. Lamar, 89, of Springfield, Ill., formerly of Riverside, Ill., passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Oak Terrace HealthCare Center in Springfield. Irene was born June 11, 1925, in Chicago, the daughter of Leo and Clara Simpson Uldrych. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lee Uldrych. Irene served as a social worker with the Cook County Circuit Courts and held a bachelor's degree from St. Xavier University. Irene is survived by two sons, Peter (wife, Christine) Lamar, of Aurora, Ill., and Carl (wife, Cynthia) Lamar, of Springfield; two daughters, Laura Lamar, of Chicago, and Joan (husband, Steven) Moss, of Rockford, Ill.; and her grandchildren, Grace, Faith, Jack and Juliana.
