Springfield — Jack Earl Luttrell, 76, of Springfield, Illinois, passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at his son's home in Springfield. Jack was born July 9, 1949, in Taylorville, the son of Ogle R. and Wilma E. Westbrook Luttrell. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jack was a U.S. Army veteran. He was the owner and operator of the L & J Supply Co. in Missouri from 1997 until his retirement in 2024.

Jack is survived by two sons, James "Steve" (wife, Jeanette) Luttrell of Litchfield and George M. Luttrell of Springfield; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Cremation rites will be accorded. No services are planned.
