Pawnee — Jackie Lee "Jack" Donahue, 83, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Jack was born March 26, 1936, in Chester, the son of Clara H. Donahue. He married Karen I. Stehl on March 26, 1958, in Chester. Jack was preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Karen, in 1999; his daughter Barbara; and three grandchildren, Wade, Amber and Charlie.
Jack retired from Precision Products in 2000 after 15 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, both in Taylorville, and the Pawnee Masonic Lodge #675 AF&AM. Jack enjoyed bowling, gardening, playing card and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Jack is survived by three sons, Vince W. (wife, Kathleen) Donahue of Decatur, Patrick W. (wife, Diane) Donahue of Pawnee and Charles W. Donahue of Pawnee; one daughter, Kayla L. (husband, Rodney) Hunsley of Pawnee; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Jack's family will meet friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, at Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with the burial at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
