HETTICK – Karenina Rochell Marcet, 47, of Hettick, Ill., died on Friday, June 9, 2017, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill.
Karenina was born Sept. 2, 1969, in Macomb, Ill., the daughter of Larry M. and Beverly M. Fengel Raymond. She married Louis B. Marcet in Woonsocket, R.I., on July 24, 2013. Karenina was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Karenina graduated from Warren High School in Monmouth, Ill., and attended Ozark Christian College. She worked as a support manager at Walmart on North Dirksen Parkway in Springfield. Karenina loved to sing, and she loved her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Louis, of Hettick; two daughters, Jacqulyn C. Booth-Marcet and Lileigh R. Wheaton, both of Massachusetts; four brothers, Larry M. Raymond of Michigan, Reece R. (wife, Angela) Raymond of Downs, Ill., Chad A. Raymond of Illinois and Courtney R. (wife, Heather) Raymond of Lincoln, Ill.; one sister, LaDawna M. (husband, David-Paul) Allen, of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, including a very special nephew, her little monster, Grady Allen.
Karenina's family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee, Ill. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2017, at the funeral home with the Rev. Bryan Marrow officiating. Burial will be at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
