Springfield — Kelly Ann Neeman, 63, of Springfield, Illinois, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at her home in Springfield. She was born Aug. 19, 1961, at Fort Gordon (now Fort Eisenhower) in Augusta, Georgia, the daughter of David E. and Karol L. Quinn (Hale). She married Lyle William Neeman Jr. on May 3, 1992, in Springfield. Kelly was preceded in death by her father, David, in 2003; her grandmother, Ethel Mae Hale, in 2015; and her dogs, Cocoa, Buddy and Buster Brown.

Kelly graduated from Lanphier High School in 1979, where she was a member of the Statesman Drum and Bugle Corps and played the bells. She had worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and Horace Mann as a claims processor. She was also an avid Anthony Rizzo fan and adored her grandchildren.

Kelly is survived by her husband, Lyle; her mother, Karol L. Quinn; two daughters, Emily A. Quinn and Abbigail B. Quinn; two brothers, Dana A. Quinn and Jim D. Quinn; her sister, Marcia G. Quinn, all of Springfield; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Kevin, Sophie and Donovan; and her granddog, Finnegan.

A graveside service will be held later at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
