PAWNEE — Kevin Eugene Egnew Sr., 55, of Pawnee, Illinois, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield. He was born Oct. 25, 1966, in Springfield, the son of Donald E. and Elsie M. Schindner Egnew. Kevin married Gloria A. Jack on Dec. 31, 1992, in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Brianna Vanpelt. Kevin graduated from Pawnee High School in 1985. He was a mechanic at Midas in Springfield for 10 years and previously worked at Donahue & Sons Garage in Pawnee. Kevin loved his kids and grandkids, and he enjoyed fishing, fixing cars and going to car shows. Kevin is survived by his wife, Gloria Egnew, of Pawnee; one son, Kevin E. (fiance, Stephanie) Egnew, of Pawnee; two daughters, Brandi L. (wife, Bre Lomelino) Egnew and Tiffany L.N. (husband, Brad) Pedersen, all of Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Tella L. Driskell, of White Plains, Missouri. Kevin's family will meet friends from 5 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, at Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee, with Rev.
