AUBURN – Kimberly Ann Molohon, 47, of Auburn, Ill., died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 30, 2017.
Kim was born March 13, 1969, in Springfield, the daughter of Kenneth C. and Maria G. Curiel Molohon. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her infant brother, Kenneth Wayne Molohon; and her nephew, Clayton Wayne Trevino.
Kim graduated from PORTA High School. She worked as a hospital clerk and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
She is survived by parents, Kenny and Maria Molohon, of Springfield; two brothers, Joseph (wife, LeighAnn) Molohon of Auburn and Kevin (wife, Tammy) Molohon of Petersburg; one sister, Rose A. Miller, of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
Kim's family will greet friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at the Curry Funeral in Pawnee with the Rev. James Palakudy officiating. Burial will be at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
Memorials honoring Kim may be made to a charity of your choice or to St. Benedict's Catholic Church, 125 E. Washington St., Auburn, IL 62615.
