Linda D. Gonterman, 71, of Chatham, Ill., passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill. Linda was born May 18, 1942, in West Frankfort, Ill., the daughter of George E. and Ester Loudene Gill Price. She married Willard R. Gonterman on July 9, 1960 in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lanny Price. Linda attended the Pawnee Assembly of God Church and loved gospel music. Linda is survived by her husband, Willard, of Chatham; her daughter, Dianna L. (husband, Kevin) Murdock, of Divernon, Ill.; two sons, Todd (Barb Shea) Gonterman, of Auburn, Ill., and Robert D. (wife, Paula) Gonterman, of Springfield; four grandchildren, Heather, Katelyn, Jacob and Andrea Gonterman; and one nephew, Jeff (wife, Donna) Price, of Barnhart, Mo. Linda's family will meet friends 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, May 4, 2014, at the Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 5, at the funeral home. The Rev. A.B. Bennett will officiate. Burial will be at Chatham Memorial Cemetery in Chatham.
