Lorna R. del Rosario Torres, 62, of Springfield, Ill., passed away Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at St. John's Hospice. Lorna was born Oct. 27, 1950, in Philippines, the daughter of Salvador C. and Elena R. del Rosario Torres. She was preceded in death by her parents. Lorna attended St. Aloysius and Blessed Sacrament Catholic churches and was employed with Goodwill Industries and SPARC. Lorna is survived by three sisters, Leilani Torres, Lillian (Kenneth) Beams, both of Springfield, and Lorraine (husband, Arnold) Micheletti of Philadelphia, Penn.; one nephew and three nieces. Lorna's family will meet friends and family Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at St. Cabrini Catholic Church in Springfield. The Rev. Richard Chiola will officiate. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Springfield. Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee, Ill., is serving the family of Lorna Torres.
