Mallory Nicole Masters, 26, of Pawnee, Ill., died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill. She was born May 28, 1985, in Springfield, the daughter of David Keith and Peggy Sue Austin Masters. Mallory was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; maternal grandfather, Ron Austin; and her uncle, Tom Masters. Mallory formerly attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pawnee. She also attended Pawnee schools. She is survived by a son, Hayden J. Masters, at home; her parents, Keith and Sue Masters, of Pawnee; her grandmother, Glenda Austin, of Peoria Heights, Ill.; two brothers, Michael D. (wife, Nikki) Masters, and Matthew J. Masters, both of Pawnee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Rosary service will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Hall in Pawnee. Mallory's family will meet friends on Saturday, April 14, 2012, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at noon at the Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee. The Rev. Vaughn Beeman and Alex Thompson will officiate. Mallory gave the ultimate gift of life through organ donation.
