Margaret Marie Boone, 85, of Pawnee, Ill., passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village in Springfield, Ill. Margaret was born March 26, 1929, in Taylorville, Ill., the daughter of Charles G. and Mary E. Lindsay Truax. She married Donald E. Boone on May 8, 1949, in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don, in 1998; a daughter-in-law, Ila Boone; two sisters, Helen Nelson and Hilda Murphy and one brother, Charles G. Truax Jr. She is survived by her son, Charles M. Boone of Pawnee, Ill.; a daughter, Donna (husband, Jim) Stadtman of Springfield; three sisters, Frieda Truax of Springfield, Grace Clelland of Michigan and Hilda M. Murphy of Chicago; a brother, Ben Truax of Edinburg, Ill.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren . Private family services are planned. Burial will be at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee. Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee, Ill., is serving the family of Margaret Boone.
