Obituary

Margaret E. Vangeison, 99, of Pawnee, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at St. John's Hospice in Springfield, Ill. Margaret was born Sept. 30, 1913, in Pawnee, the daughter of Thomas Patrick and Alice Berry Coady. She married Chester L. Vangeison on Oct. 13, 1933 in Hillsboro, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Chester in 1985; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She had been an active volunteer of the Morrisonville Presbyterian Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, taught Bible study and helped with bake sales. Margaret is survived by her son, Ronald L. (wife, Janet) Vangeison, of Eureka, Mo.; her daughter, Patricia L. Dennison of Springfield, Ill.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a great-great-great granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret's family will meet friends Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11a.m. at the Curry Funeral Home, with Rev. Flo Scott officiating. Burial will be at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee. Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20,2012 Curry Funeral Home 407 Carroll St. Pawnee, Ill.
