Chatham — Michael Howard Schuh, 54, of Chatham, Illinois, formerly of Springfield, passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield. He was born Aug. 2, 1969, in Springfield, the son of Michael L. and Patricia Spencer Schuh. He married Ann Marie Ushman on Aug. 2, 2014, in Springfield. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Tammy Serfes.

Mike was a loving husband and father and a faithful, God-fearing person. He was raised in Montana before returning to Illinois and graduated from Buffalo Tri-City High School in 1990. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Colorado Technical University. He was a certified nursing assistant for over 20 years and had worked at Billings Clinic Broadwater in Townsend, Montana, and Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Virden, Illinois. Mike also had over 20 years of experience in management positions in retail.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Schuh, of Chatham; two children, Aiden M. Schuh and Jamie J. Schuh, both at home; one brother, Gary W. (wife, Catherine) Russell, of Helena, Montana; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
