Pawnee — Nancy Jane Pratt, 62, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield. Nancy was born July 13, 1957, in Springfield, the daughter of Denzil A. and Martha J. Ramsay Burgett. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Denzil and Edward; and two sisters, Julie and Janice. Nancy was a supervisor of banquet setup, working at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, for 15 years before moving to Pawnee. She attended Lanphier High School in Springfield. Nancy is survived by one son, James C. Pratt, of Lewisburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Heather J. Chidster and Misty D. Pratt, both of Pawnee; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Tammy J. Baptist, of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. The family will meet friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee with Rev. Don Castleberry officiating.
