Springfield — Pamela Jane Minder DiAngelo, 68, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of Pawnee, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield. She was born April 3, 1956, in Springfield, the daughter of Harold Francis and Mary Jane Haire Minder. She married the love of her life, Jeffrey Dale DiAngelo, on Dec. 7, 2022, at Pawnee United Methodist Church in Pawnee. Pam was preceded in death by her parents.

Pam was a 1974 graduate of Pawnee High School. She had worked at Langheim Concrete and Marine Bank as a receptionist and retired from Sangamon County as a clerk after several years of service. Pam loved life and her puppies Chi-Chi and Maci Pup and her cat, Top Cat.

Pam is survived by her husband, Jeff, of Springfield; two stepchildren, Hailey N. Kelly and Corey A. DiAngelo, both of Riverton; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Sandy (husband, Larry) Warrington, Jerry Alexander, both of Pawnee, and Vicky (companion, Greg Stewart) Morrow of Carlinville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life service will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Pawnee Township building, 507 Fifth St., Pawnee, IL 62558.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
