Patricia Ann White, 70, of Taylorville, Illinois, died Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. Patricia was born Aug. 15, 1949, in Washington D.C., the daughter of Issac P. and Bernadine Hazel Rapp. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Sean L. Armstrong and David P. Armstrong; one brother, Ronald White; and one sister, Pamela Cox.
Patricia attended the Prairie Temple Assembly of God Church in Virden. She was a certified nursing assistant and worked at several area hospitals. Patricia was a class of 1970 graduate of Springfield High School. She was a San Francisco 49'ers fan; enjoyed crafts, fishing and reading; and loved history.
Patricia is survived by one daughter, Rebecca M. (husband, Jess) Davis of Langleyville; two daughters-in-law, Lori (husband, Tim) Elston of Virden and Kimberly S. Armstrong of Taylorville; one sister, Sandra L. (husband, Jack) White, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; one sister-in-law, Connie White, of Springfield; nine grandchildren; her best friend, Jeff Hardy; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Patricia's family will meet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of a celebration of life service at 11. a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at the Prairie Temple Assembly of God Church, 18700 State Route 4, Virden, IL 62690, with Rev. Terry Turner officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Virden.
