Pawnee — Phyllis Jean Crews, 81, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista. Phyllis was born July 21, 1938, in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Charles L. and Viva L. Snodgrass Beam. She was preceded in death by her parents. Phyllis graduated from Ball-Chatham High School and was a realtor in the Springfield area for many years. She had a flair for art and design and enjoyed painting, as well as all aspects of art. Phyllis is survived by one son, Jesse Bruce Crews, of Boise, Idaho; and three grandchildren, Vanessa Crews, Tyler Crews and Mejra Memisevic. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at Zion Cemetery in Pawnee. Rev. Dan Willenborg will officiate.
