Pawnee — Robert Paul Langdon, 77, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Bob was born July 21, 1940, in Murrayville, the son of John F. and Mabel R. O'Connell Langdon Sr. He married Toni L. Aumann Oct. 25, 2003, in Nokomis. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John F. "Jack" Langdon, in 2008. Bob was a member of the Church of St. Jude in Rochester. He was a 1958 graduate of Routt Catholic High School in Jacksonville. Bob was a member of the Jacksonville Knights of Columbus Council #868, the Divernon Sportsman Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #437 in Springfield. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, grilling and gardening, and he enjoyed tooling around Pawnee in his golf cart. Bob is survived by his wife, Toni, of Pawnee; two sons, Robert P. (wife, Lynn) Langdon of Rochester and James P. (wife, Elizabeth) Langdon of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; two daughters, Jennifer A. (husband, Andrew) Cole of Hawaii and Bridget M. (companion, Doug) Langdon of Bloomington; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee, with an additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at the funeral home with Rev. Adam Prichard officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Pawnee. Contributions honoring Bob's memory may be made to either the Pawnee Fire Department or the Pawnee Police Department, P.O.
