Pawnee — Sandra S. "Sandy" Stuckwisch, 63, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at her home in Pawnee. Sandy was born Dec. 16, 1956, in Norfolk, Nebraska, the daughter of Arnold H. and Hazel A. Meyer Stuckwisch. She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece Kathy.
Sandy was a 1974 graduate of Elizabeth High School in Elizabeth. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Prairie Heart Institute at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield for more than 10 years. Sandy was a Chicago Cubs fan, an avid lover of Doberman Pinchers and a member of the Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus.
Sandy is survived by six brothers, Roger D. (wife, Barbara) Stuckwisch of Tilden, Nebraska, Richard A. (wife, Tina) Stuckwisch of El Paso, Texas, Randall R. (wife, K.C.) Stuckwisch of Hobe Sound, Florida, Roland D. (wife, Cindy) Stuckwisch of Industry, Rory A. (wife, Nancy) Stuckwisch of Macomb and Ronald D. (wife, Debbie) Stuckwisch of McHenry; one sister, Barbara A. Stuckwisch, of McHenry; 19 nieces and nephews; and cousins.
Sandy's family will have a private graveside service at Woodbine Cemetery near Elizabeth.
