Steven Lee Bell, 67, of Pawnee, Ill., died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill. Steven was born April 7, 1948, in Peoria, Ill., the son of James L. and Jeanette Wright Bell. He married Janet Church Pickana on Aug. 20, 1971, in Peoria, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated from Woodruff High School in Peoria. He was an avid guitar player and loved time with family. Steven is survived by his wife, Janet, of Pawnee; two daughters, Brenda S. Rose and Vicky J Bell, both of Canton; three grandsons; one brother, James L. Bell, of Peoria and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at Camp Butler National Cemetery with military honors. A praise and celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at noon at The Gate Church, 10213 Palm Rd., Glenarm, IL 62536, with Rev Steve Miller officiating.
