PAWNEE – Lynn Clauser, 63, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Lynn was born July 31, 1954, in Herrin, Illinois, the daughter of William D. and Dorothy Lewis Seagle. She married James L. Clauser on Aug. 5, 1972, in Stonington, Illinois. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Donna Ferguson; and her aunt and uncle, Jim and Kat Lewis. Lynn was a 1972 graduate of Pawnee High School and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Lynn is survived by her husband, Jim, of Pawnee; two sons, James L. (wife, Chrissy) Clauser II of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Jason D. (wife, Kristen) Clauser of Pawnee; two daughters, Kelly M. (husband, Mike) Ellis of Pawnee and Amy J. (husband, Graham) Nicholson of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, David "Butch" (wife, Bonnie) Seagle of Morrisonville, Billy (wife, Diana) Seagle of Riverton and Jimmy Lester Seagle; and several nieces and nephews. A private family service is planned. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery near Kincaid.
