Walter W. Barger, 76, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill. He was born July 25, 1940, in Springfield, the son of Fred F. and Ruth F. Hill Barger. Walt was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Rose Anne Selhime; and one brother, John F. Barger. Walt was a painter by trade. He was a constant sidekick to his brother, John. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Walt's family will meet friends at a later date at the Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee. Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee is serving the family of Walter Barger.
