Springfield ― William Jacob "Will" Oesterreich, 30, of Dacula, Georgia, formerly of Springfield, Illinois, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, in Georgia. Will was born in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Bill and Jean Schafer Oesterreich. He married Sarah Tostevin, on May 16, 2015, in Charleston, South Carolina. Will was a 2005 graduate of Lutheran High School in Springfield and a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University. Will was a huge fan of the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Chicago Cubs. Will loved golf and life and will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He had resided in the metro Atlanta area for the last eight years. Will is survived by his wife, Sarah, of Dacula; his parents, of Springfield; one sister, Mindy (husband, Timothy) Milner, of Springfield; one brother, Josh (wife, Kelcy) Oesterreich, of Columbia, Missouri; his grandparents, William H. and Lynda Oesterreich of Third Lake, Illinois, and Charles and Marilyn Schafer of Liberty, Illinois; two nephews, Liam and Tucker Milner of Springfield; and his dogs Ava and Lola. A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 2645 Old Jacksonville Road, Springfield, IL 62704. An additional visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the church with the Pastor Joshua Traxel officiating and Rev. James Stuenkel preaching. Contributions honoring Will's memory may be made to Lutheran High School, 3500 West Washington St., Springfield, IL 62711, or the Mississippi State University PGA Golf Management Program, c/o Mississippi State University, P.O.
